How do I register for a class?
INFOLINK classes are open to library staff from member libraries.
There is no limit on the number of staff from a member library who can register.
Registration can be made by choosing one of the following options:
- CALL the INFOLINK Office at 732-752-7720/800-505-5465
- SEND a registration form (fax: 732-752-7785/800-793-8007)
- Use the INFOLINK
Online Registration Form
You will receive a fax reminder for a class several days before the scheduled
date, with parking information if necessary.
How
do I pay for a class?
Payment should be made to complete your registration. Please send payment
(purchase order or check payable to INFOLINK) to the
INFOLINK Office (44 Stelton Road, Suite 330, Piscataway, NJ 08854) before
the day of class you are registering for. Do not forget to list class names
& dates on your purchase order or check.
INFOLINK subsidizes the cost of each class to make high-quality,
low-cost training available to staff of INFOLINK member libraries.
Please pay registration fees promptly. Please know that payments cannot be accepted
at the class.
Can
I have cancellation & refund information?
Class payments are non-refundable unless INFOLINK cancels a class.
You may cancel up to ten 10 business days before a scheduled class
without penalty and receive a credit for another class or a full-refund.
If you cancel less than ten days before, you are responsible for payment.
INFOLINK reserves the right to cancel any
class that is less than 60% full within 7 business days of the class. If
INFOLINK cancels a class, you will receive a credit toward another
class or a full-refund. In the event of a class cancellation, we will make every
attempt to notify you directly at least 48 hours in advance.
Class cancellations due to snow or severe weather condition will be listed
at www.infolink.org/cancellation.htm.
You may also call INFOLINK at 732-752-7720 or 866-505-5465 (LINK) after
7AM on the day of the class. A staff member or pre-recorded message will inform
you if any classes have been cancelled due to the weather condition.
Will it be
too hot/cold in the training lab?
Everyone's "comfortable temperature" is different. Please dress in layers for your personal comfort. No food or beverages are allowed in the Training
Locations. All classes will start on time…please plan ahead when traveling.
How do I
get to the training locations?
Directions to the Training Locations are available from our Website at www.infolink.org/services/education_and_training/.
Parking
- Each registrant for a training session at the Elizabeth Public Library will receive a dated Parking Permit with instructions. It is vital that you contact the INFOLINK Office if you have not received a permit.
- Registrants for training at the LMxAC Office need no parking permit. Park at the rear of the building.
- Registrants for training at the Newark Public Library who drive to the training must use the paid lots described on their directions page.
Building access
- At the Elizabeth Public Library enter the library from the main door on Broad Street.
- At the LMxAC Office enter from the rear of the building and take the elevator to the second floor to Suite 203.
- At the Newark PL enter the library at the main door, check in with the staff at the front desk and ask for the lab used for INFOLINK training.
All Don't Forget
No food or beverages are allowed in the Computer Training Centers. All classes will
start on time…please plan ahead when traveling.
